Using AI to calculate camera movements and shooting angles

Abstract:

The Highway Administration, in cooperation with Taiwan AI Labs and the Chi-Po Lin Foundation, used aerial drone cameras to capture 360 degree footage of the central section of Route 61. This was combined with artificial intelligence that calculated camera movements and shooting angles to produce the film “A Coastal Journey,” through which viewers can experience the beauty of the western coast.
